HOW TO HELP ON THE CAMPAIGN

Volunteering on a political campaign is a lot of fun, and there are many different jobs to do. Why not give it a try! Send us an e-mail using the Contact tab or click on the Volunteer button above.

Host Greg at a Coffee Party

Greg would be pleased to come to a coffee party or a wine-and-cheese at your home, office or in a public place (e.g. restaurant) to meet your friends, family, colleagues or professional network and hear their thoughts on the important issues facing Canadians.

We particularly need people to host an after-work event if you live in a Condo Building.

We also need people who can introduce Greg to their community, church, sports or similar groups - either by hosting an event, or by Greg attending an event already planned.

If you are interested, please go to Volunteer Sign-Up Form.

Join Greg Knocking on Doors

Greg is knocking on the doors of residents living in Calgary Centre to answer their questions and ask for their support. He needs people to go with him each time, to drive, knock on doors to see if anyone is home, and take notes of any questions or followup. He usually goes mid-day (11 AM to 2 PM) and evenings (5:00 to 8 PM) and on weekends (Saturday and Sunday afternoons). If you’d like to go with him, please let us know on the Volunteer Sign-Up Form.

Take a Lawn Sign

Consider taking a sign on your lawn or at your business. We can deliver your sign, or if you prefer, you can pick one up at the campaign HQ. Go to the Lawn Sign page and fill out the form, or click here:

Help on Election Day

On election day, Monday September 20, we will need teams of people to be scrutineers, drivers and doorknockers, reminding people to vote.

We will also need volunteers at Advance Polls.

Sign up using the Volunteer button and we will be in touch about the best job for you.

Doorknockers: Day and evening shifts. Let us know if you have a car available. Teams of doorknockers go from door-to-door of identified Conservative voters to ask them to vote and offer any assistance. Teams will have at least one person with a car to transport voters.

Drivers: Must have a good car (preferably 4-door, van or SUV) that can be used to transport voters to the polls. You may also be asked to run errands such as taking lunches to volunteers.

Inside Scrutineers: These people watch the vote and the count, and record who have voted (so that we can get others out to vote). You stay and watch the final count, and phone in the results to HQ.

Outside Scrutineers: Must have a car for personal use, and be comfortable inputting data into their tablet or mobile device.

Engage on Social Media

One way Greg’s social media posts get greater circulation is if lots of people “like” or “follow” him, and engage with his posts (“like”, “comment”, “share”, “retweet” etc.). The links to his social media pages are at the top and bottom of this page. Please consider engaging with Greg online to boost his profile.

Donate*

Donations are gratefully appreciated. Donations do not have to be large - a donation of $10, $25 or $50 helps us meet our goal and run a great campaign.  Donations* must be from individuals, not companies, associations, unions etc.

*Please note that the maximum accepted donation amount is $1650 CAD per calendar year. This includes all donations to a Conservative Party candidate (such as Greg) or a local Conservative constituency association. It does not include funds you may have given to the central Conservative Party in Ottawa, or to a leadership candidate, which each have a separate limit of another $1650. Donations must be from individuals, not companies, associations, unions or other organizations. The limit applies to each individual.
