Does our Minister of Finance recognize the financial crisis he has helped create?

Most successful Canadian governments have had successful finance ministers:The Mulroney Government had Michael Wilson; The Chretien Government had Paul Martin; the Harper Government had Jim Flaherty.
All of these Finance Ministers achieved success in improving Canada's financial performance -- all in different economic environments.
Admittedly, Minister Morneau has a deeper challenge in that the Prime Minister he serves knows much less about economics -- neither in a global context nor as it affects working people.
Perhaps, Minister Morneau's predecessors were more clear on how this country pays its bills! And the importance of that to Canadians and our ability to sustain our programs. Let me say that distributing $17 Billion in 2017 from Alberta taxpayers to fund services across Canada arose largely from an industry whose politically-imposed challenges Minister Morneau is ignoring.
Canadians can't afford to continue on an economic path blazed by this Prime Minister's father -- with several failed finance ministers, a disastrously manipulated resource sector, unsustainable deficits, and a national debt that constrained our abilities to meet changing world circumstances for decades!
Finance Minister Morneau, take heed: history is rhyming well, and you are earning a legacy that Canadians will be dreading much of their lives -- again!
